While a more than capable all -round off-road shoe, the Trailfly Max in Blue/Lime/Black really comes into its own during long runs and ultra-marathons across hard and rocky ground due its extra cushioning and incredible grip.
Taking the starting point as the highly popular Trailfly shoe, Inov8 have added in a generous amount of extra foam underfoot to comfortably cushion your foot from the rigours of hard packed trails in the Trailfly MaxMade from infusing a super-critical (both liquid and gas at once) EVA foam with Nitrogen, the FLYSPEED PRO used as cushioning is incredibly lightweight, as well offering excellent comfort and energy return. Add in a 6mm bed of Boomerang and you get extra bounce that maintains your agility.
By using the world's strongest material, graphene in the rubber outsole, Inov-8 can create a tacky, grippy rubber that is still hard wearing. Throw in some 4mm multi directional lugs and underfoot flex groves, and you get super confident grip, with a natural, agile feel.
The fit is secure at the midfoot and locked in at the heel thanks to a MET CRADLE in the upper, and widens in the forefoot, allowing for a natural splay in the toes, for increased control across technical terrain.
