The speed and forward motion is also improved by the outsole pattern. By changing to a data-based design that uses vertical grooves instead of horizontal ones, New Balance have added 33% stiffness to the forefoot, improving the heel to toe roll, and promoting a more structured and smoother transition through your stride.
